I’m thinking a sandwich and a cold beer would taste pretty good about now. Or maybe some stew beef.

Got any big plans? Busy gig weekend for me. The good thing about playing trumpet is that you are guaranteed to work on Easter and Christmas. I’ve got a vigil tomorrow night, then two services on Sunday morning. Also an opera rehearsal on Saturday. It’s nice to be busy again.

I was gonna cut out early to renew my driver license. I was all set to get in line online when the page told me the license offices all closed at noon today.

So I’m still at work.

must remember to eat before i go or this will end poorly

no real plans for the rest of the weekend... will probably make a couple attempts at gatecrashing the local league racing at the track in the name of excersize

but other than that its just quiet family time

Depends on the weather, probably do some cleaning and bike rides. If it’s really nice we might go to Glacier Park and ride bikes on the Going to the Sun road.

I’m waiting for a friend to pick me up and go get some food. Probably a beer or 2 afterwards .

Hop ing for good w ea ther at some point this weekend so I can get out of the house with the camera. Other than that busy schedule, it’s gonna be v ery chill.

Currently having a beer at my local brew pub, as wife and kids are out of town for a while. Easter is busy for me as well, as I sing in our church choir. Holy Thursday mass, Easter Vigil Saturday night and then singing at both morning masses on Sunday, as me and another woman at church will cantor the early morning mass.  Then I’m cooking a ham on my smoker grill for dinner. At least I’ll have some decent beer to go with, as I have a growler of beer in the fridge for Sunday.

Hmm, could be here:

The chimney is a little different, but it could have changed, or we could be looking at one farther back (or I could just have the wrong building). The side awning doesn’t work great here though obviously the building on the left isn’t likely to have been there when the photo was taken either. The building does have those iron medallions along the side, and the brick is a different color, below them like it might have been used for a painted billboard at some point.

DMV is the worst. When we had to get my son’s learner permit, we just went to the office about 40 minutes before it started and sat outside. It was actually less waiting than if we had gone later. The first day we went the wait was at least 4 hours.

Last time I went, I wanted to have my license just put my first initial and middle name, like it is on my SS card. A state trooper belligerently told me that would be a legal change of name, and I would have to ask a judge to do it. So much for customer service.

I was keen to try the get in line online feature.  Guess I’ll try Monday.  I’m waiting to the last minute, as that’s my b-day.

yeah - annual state vehicle registration, (but did her oil change, air filter, etc a couple weeks ago so at least that is done.)
